2100 Greenwood Evanston rentals

2100 Greenwood is an award winning development offering a unique live/work community located in Evanston Illinois just north of Chicago.  We purchased an old rolled steel cutting factory complete with overhead cranes.   Rather than knock down the building we decided to take an adaptive reuse construction approach to our project.  We used most of the building's structural steel, brick and design elements to create a architecturally unique 27 unit loft community with 12 to 20 foot ceilings and 1000 to 2700 square foot live/work lofts.  The building is now complete and almost fully rented.  This project is a great alternative to town homes, duplexes and traditional rentals. Here are a few photos showing our adaptive reuse architecture and construction of the 2100 Greenwood Lofts community.

Once the single story entry space was complete work began on lofts.

We adapted our design to reuse steel recyclig the old building framework.
